hi i have a s13 coupe with a trunk that i cant take off. they key whole thing blew out (don't know what the previous owner did). is there any easy way where i can remove it so i cna install a new trunk?

have you even looked at it?
If you had you would have noticed the 4 bolts that connect it to the spring loaded arms
and FYI you can replace just the lock

^^^this, you may be able to cut around it if you don't care about it. that will release the trunk.

My trunk did that to me about a week ago, I just had to pull the cable tighter(wrap around my hand) while I pulled the latch. Than since it was open I fixed it lol

shotgun or a grenade will fix this problem, let me know if you need a grenade because i know a guy who knows a guy and so on.... and so on.

if the lock is out
stick ur finger in the hole palm facing sky
curl finger up and feel around for a little "lever" type thingy and push it to the right
it should pop right open

This lever also moves up and down...if the lever is in the down position the trunk popper on the floor on the drivers side will not pop the trunk open. . . go in through the back seat and make sure it is in the up position and your trunk should pop open regardless if the key hole is there or not.
