I'm having to replace the bolts, washers and spacers on this thing like once a week. :bash:

It obviously serving its purpose.

Anyone have any suggestions on mounting hardware or such so I don't have to mess around with this thing all the time?

Then you're just going to wear the mounting hole off the skidplate.

Crazy idea - but why not raise the car up about half an inch? Will make all the difference in the world on scraping.

wow, zilvia is now full of dip shit "JDM tyte yoo" and "Moar lower" idiots. Either stop complaining about your problems from doing stupid shit like going "moar lower" or do shit the way it was design, the right way without problems.

Nothing but posers now, zilvia -2 rep for too many posers and ricer

Why don't you just bolt a block of steel down there to act as a wear plate if you want to ricer drag that stuff around?

Aluminum and small bolt heads aren't going to last long.

Make it titanium and have it shoot tons of sparks out like 90's F1 style while you're cruising around your local ricer meet for extra cool points.

There are just as many if not more members who think their way of modifying a car is the only way it should be done, and everyone else is a fanboy trend-follower.
They do not realize that they are as annoying as any fanboy, and just happen to be following a different trend.

If this was directed at me, that's not what I think at all. I more poke fun at some of the guys around here that complain constantly about all the problems being low cause, but would never raise their car up. It's all in good fun, as I realize different strokes for different folks.

I'm not following any trend if you look at my car.... other than just trying to go faster with it. I've also been doing the whole track car modifying thing for quite a while, before it was quite as "trendy." Some people just need to grow some thicker skin if they're really going to be all about "MOAR LOWER" and are serious about it.

But seriously, you need something much harder and larger than aluminum plate or bolt heads if you're going to constantly scrape it. Just grab a piece of stainless steel bar and drill some holes to bolt it to your front subframe. It'll last 100x longer than a couple of small bolt heads due to lower pressure when grinding on pavement.
