So, I've bought a rear caliper rebuild kit for my S13. I'm going to tackle it this weekend and will take pictures and so forth but I want to ask a few questions first . .

The kit I bought was from Napa

Part Number of UP 2027 (http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Detail.aspx?A=UBP2027_0094348791&An=599001+101993+50090+2090011)

This kit as you can see from the link above contains about 5 different seals for the rear caliper. I have found the following image online . . .

Now, I know the Piston Boot and the Piston seal and included in the Napa kit, but the other pieces . . . I don't know?!? Can someone point me in the direction of what the other pieces in this kit are for so that I can begin the write-up for everyone to use?

Dont get me wrong its a great idea but you can get rebuilt calipers for like 40 bucks after the core return its not worth it.

But im interested in seeing the write up.

Where is this? I have not found anything cheaper then $80 after the core. If you know of a place that is letting them go for $40, please do tell since that would save me the time and hassle of cleaning up my 240sx calipers to repaint.

so did you actually do this or just pay 100 bucks to get a caliper which is easier

dont do it man, its not worth the pain of trying to rebuild them. i just went through this myself a few months back. it took hours to put back together and it still wasnt acting right, ended up buying a new caliper
