Just put mine pbm coilovers like couple days ago and second day of driving on them the back started clunking like crazy left and right corners. I thought maybe something was loose checked everything swaped coilovers side to side still cunks like crazy. Tried tightening the top nut on the coilover but it spins both ways but does not move? So what can be th e problem here? Rims do not rub and rucas do not rub too. I am confused
do they have pillow ball mounts? when the pb mounts go bad, they'll move up and down causing a 'pop' sound when they hit. look at the top and 'bounce' the car, or jack it up and let it down, see if it moves up and down.
edit- just read it again... if by Pbm coilover you mean pillow ball mount then disregard the question, but continue with the check :D

he means powered by max coilovers- mine clunk/pop on the fronts.. and when i try to tighten the top nut, it just spins and doesnt really tighten.. i heard to use an impact to the top nuts to tighten..

coils pop when you tun sometimes. my old megans always did. its the spring sliding on the perches, but i thought pbm uses a type of bushing inbetween the spring and top/bottom perches that shouldnt break and should prevent most of the popping.
