im trying to figure out this whole final drive thing. right now i am confussed as shit. i have been searching and reading for about 3 hours now. i have just a few simple dumbass ?'s that need to be answered and i will be in the clear from there.

if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all.

1. is a r200 the same as a s13 pumpkin? if not what is the s13 pumpkin called?

2. i ran a 11.20 at 121 mph with a 4.083, if i had a 4.636, what would my new et?

3. if im in 4th gear now for about 2 seconds in the end of the 1/4, will i be in it at all with a 4.636 or will i run 4th all the way out?

r200 refers to the guts of the diff. The housings tend to be different. s13 and s14 are essentially the same, but the rear covers are different and the s14 has bushings at the front of the diff whereas the s13 solid mounts.

Some pathfinders, z31, 280zx, etc etc came with r200 diffs, but you can't bolt them into s-chassis cars.

You can't really say how ET will change with a different rear end. 4.6 is shorter which means you will be in 4th for longer as you'll be getting through the gears faster. Use a gear speed calculator (http://www.f-body.org/gears/) and change the final drive ratio to get an idea of what changing the final drive does.
