Photo Essay: The World’s Most Spectacular Roads, Vol. 2 (http://matadortrips.com/photo-essay-the-worlds-most-spectacular-roads-vol-2)

I've been lucky enough to drive along numbers 6, 17, and 19.

#1, 7, 11, and 14 will be on my to-do list.

I was wondering this, as well.

Cool article, nevertheless.

Why the fuck is UAE in there...there is nothing out there but fucking flat land with shifting sand dunes. But that is pretty much EVERYWHERE in the whole middle east.

Now if they posted up 4x4s off roading off the highways and into those sand dunes, then thats fucking awesome. Done that shit when I was kid, take some 4x4 Nissan Safari, go camping at some Bedouin camp in the middle of nowhere. Cant fucking beat it.

I've had the chance to actually travel on number 7,16, and 19. I would have to say that Millau Bridge in France was my personal favourite :)

Damn, I knew I should've taken I-70 across the country instead of the more southern route I took. I do love Colorado roads.

i've been on 2, 7, 16, 17, and 19.

stelvio sucked. probably because my dad is a shitty manual driver and we were in a mini van...

48 Hairpin turns..........

That actually sounds kind of annoying to drive. Turn left, then right, then left, then right, repeat 48x...

Great post though, some new ideas to travel in the future

I was actually thinking the same thing. Looking at the picture that looks miserable. Its not nice sweeping turns you can carve. Its downshift to 1/2 and turn damn near full lock 48x. Doesnt sound fun to me either.

Most of those pictures are so edited they look like paintings...I hate dat booshit.
