DrifutoS14- i see you have an N1 single... is it the whole catback from Apexi or the muffler and custom piping? How do you like it?

I have the whole Catback from Apexi, Its really nice I think. It has a good tone at low rpms when your cruising, but when you hit the throttle man its monsterous. But thats what I like, you may not like the loudness but I want everyone to hear that Im racing somone heheh. people say you lose low end power, but I didnt notice it that much. If your thinking about buying it also look into the HKS Hyper Exhaust, There basically the same so what ever one you can find cheaper buy it.

In the future Im thinking about cutting out the cat and putting a straight pipe that they make for the 97- Maxima, just to make it an even more sporty, loud tone. Then when inspection comes around, smack the cat back on.

But neways the exhaust is great, I reccomend it to aanyone.

about the hood...i don't remember if anyone mentioned whether or not you could use the 240 stock brackets or if you HAVE to get some made. I'm in class now, so I can't so a ton of searching. Anyone know if there is a site with detailed info on the conversion install?

Also...I am planning on having the kit installed by a shop, but is there any danger in putting the fenders on? I mean...that won't ruin anything if there is any fabrication that needs to be done, right? I'd like to try to put on as many pieces as possible to save $$ ANd I am still confused as to how the radiator core support is supposed to go on  I've looked and looked and it just doesn't seem to fit anywhere :aw:

Why would you buy it and try to install it yourself if you have no idea what you are doing?

Who said That I did not have an idea of what I was doing? I said that I did not have a clue of what to BEGIN with. This is a forum right? I figured some people on the board have done the initial install of an S15 Front end, so I wanted to know what to BEGIN with and take it from there.

If you don't have something informative to say, then do not say anything at all. Thanks!

Thanks for all the people how have replied with help.

There is plenty of information about doing an s13.5 or s14.5 conversion, both on this forum and other Nissan enthusiast forums. You'll just have to do some legwork on what you need, what brands are recommended, and what problems you'll run into.

My only advice to you is purchase the right fenders. MASA usually fits well, unlike GTP or other cheap copies. You can pay less now, but pay more in the body shop.

There is an S13.5 running around in central New Jersey. Find him and pick his brain.

PLEASE DON'T HALF-*** THIS CONVERSION!!!

Ok, if you're going to spend the money to do the conversion, please get it done right, if you have no experience with body work, TAKE IT TO A BODY SHOP.

The stock hinges do work with a little relocation.

Like i said, if you're already going to invest that much money into a conversion, invest a little bit more and do it right, you won't regret the final product.
