wobbling noise from motor

all u have to do to fix this problem is take off the upper timing chain guide, call nissan to find out more. they say the part is not needed for 96 and older 240's

Name the power steering fluid you are using?

If it is not dextron automatic transmission fluid, you have the wrong crap in your steering system and it could be the PS pump making that noise. It is right by the timing chain cover and does sound quite simalar. Not like the whining of a chevy or ford.

Add some transmission fluid (dextron) to your PS res. while running and see if the noise goes away..give it a try. The res. holds quite a bit.

Try it and report back.

i was able to get rid of the problem by taking off the upper timing chain guide on my 93 240, thanks for the advice though
