Well im still running the car NA but i decided to put the 370's in today...to make my life easier on the big turbo install day... Well the car actually gets into the higher rev's faster but my idle sucks and it seems to be backfiring slightly when i left off the gas also.. Im running -37 across the board and i mean it does pull harder but my idle seems weird.. It normally idles around 500-600 so i guess if i raise the idle to the 750-800 range it should run better.. The car runs fine in the high revs... Maybe one of the injectors is stuck open ? Help!
And if so where is the idle control screw on the KA ?

Have you adjusted the ecu to compensate or had a re-program? Its usually recommended for stability and such.
Check the injector connectors by gently shaking them while the engine is idling. Also inspect your spark plugs for cracks. Look for arcs (blue electricity) by running the car idel in the dark, be sure to put the pedal down to create a load.
Check for white deposits on your coil which can indicate whether the coil is breaking down and electrcity is arcing to the closest ground. Replace the fuel filter, maybe it is clogged or cannot support the flow because of being so.
Check the MAF,AIV and their connectors.

Running rich, not getting enough air, and this will smoke up the chambers. your head CFM (valve bowls and intake and exhaust openings are not large enough for those injectors..yet..the turbo will cram more air and it will be better.
I idle at 1100 and it still shakes and pops..at 1300, sounds like a dragster when it is uncapped, flames and all.
Even at 2K I get some shake...very noticable to someone sitting behind me...the stick moves back and forth around 1/2 inch left and 1/2 inch right.
Totally normal..you want performance, put up with a rough idle.
I have my idle set at 1100 and it is perfect for my engine..I had to do extensive 3 duct intake feed to get enough air for the larger bore MAFS as well. I do have a larger bore and stroke than stock..larger injectors and just more balls.
Go ahead and idle it up to 1100. It will not clog up and your engine will be happy. Also do a full reset of the ECU while you are at it.

Well, you have an S13.
I posted this earlier, but here it is again.
1. You need to leave all the sensors connected
2. 2nd of all, the check engine light WILL NOT turn off until you reset the computer, to do this:
* Find the computer(Behind the plastic piece by the passenger foot
* Pull it out
* Turn your key to the on position
* You will see a flathead screw looking bolt on 1 side of the computer. Turn this fully clockwise
* Wait at least 2 seconds
* Turn it back to fully counterclockwise
* This will then show the trouble code - (The check engine light will blink to show this, for instance, blink..blink..blink......blink..blink, will be 32)
* After you read the code, you can start the engine
* Turn the bolt back to the clockwise position for at least 2 seconds(While running)
* Turn it back to the counterclockwise position
* Now shut the car and then start it again, this should of removed the code.
The idle control screw can be found through the use of the search option.

that flathead screw on the ecu is the idle control. it has many other functions as well. that is why when you read how to check your codes you should mark the location of that screw. is it ka24de or e? my 90 240 does not respond to the idle adjust, and yes my butterfly closes all the way. it idles at exactly 1100 rpm
