Has anyone ever tried or seen the results at an attempt to sand down the inside of the Zenki headlight to remove the fluting (the lines)? All google ever yields is how to sand the yellow off the outside, so no help there. It would be a lot of work to do, but I'd like to know about other experiences before I spend hours sanding.

If no one has tried it, I may give it a go and see how it comes out.

On a semi-related note, does anyone know where to get clear zenki lens for less than the $180 circuit sports ones (for if/when I ruin my stock ones lol)?

Those are exactly the $180 (with shipping) ones I was talking about, but thanks anyways.

Do you have any further information on this? I've been searching all over their site but I haven't seen anything directly related to this and I'm afraid it might be hidden within another article, so if you have any other leads that would help, thanks!

I wonder if you could pour clear resin in there. Not sure how long it would last or how expensive such a materiel would be, but it would level out the bumps.

^ I can then see it setting on fire from the heat of the bulb.

it has been 'done' and discussed before. perhaps not on this site, maybe 240sxforums.com or northwestnissans.com....

Good point. I wonder what temps the headlight lenses reach, versus the resin. Tap Clear-Lite resin cures at 250F... but I don't know if it can withstand that at long temps over it's lifetime.

On my zenki nlights to get them really clear again, i put brake cleaner on a rag and wiped. it was amazing!

I've been looking for a spare headlight to fuck with. My drivers side cleaned up really nice but my passenger is still slightly foggy and yellow.

Now that I look at it, the drivers side could use a little more work.

I've sanded with 1000,1500,2000, then rubbing compound, then plastic polish.

What was the general consensus? Seriously google just comes up with... "my
lights were yellow so I did this... blah blah blah"

I've retrofitted projectors and HID's (which is why I'm in the market for clear headlights in the first place) so I think the bulbs get a bit warmer than stock [although I'm not 100% on that].

Just finished all 30, there's some really good info in there, I think I may attempt the mold, depends on if I can ever find a spare set of zenki lights to dick around with
