Just bought a 240sx HELP

k i just bought a 1989 240sx 5spd...
as u guys know stock its not that fast. i was wondering wat i can do to make it decently fast. i was considering the SR20DET swap or just turbo my engine? suggestions

not so fast with respect to what?

the KA is a nice engine!
things i've beaten completly stock (there aren't that many)
aleros, and civics. <---smoke both with no problems.

there are many options, not just a SR swap but RB or (what i should have done because i'm having big problems with just getting my engine) a CA.

or a KA-T which can give you over 300HP!

look around some one posted about how they kept a n/a engine and made SR comprable power.

How about you drive the car for a while and post this same thing in like 10 months. Love the car for how it is now and get used to it drives first before you make it JDM fast.
