I know it's the longest of all long shots, trying to sell my car here, but I figure I'd try. lol.

I'm putting my Evo up for sale. The 2.3 stroker motor was completed in October of 2009, and in the past 8 months, I've put 1,200 miles on the new motor and the first 1000 miles was put within the first week and the other 100 was driving to and from getting the car tuned, the rest was just randomly driving around. It just doesn't make sense to be paying $600 every month for the car payment and insurance on a car I never drive anymore. I bought an Integra to drive around when I was waiting for the motor to get built, but even now, I drive my integra 99.9% of the time, and at this point, i only turn the Evo on and drive it around the block once a week just to keep the battery and everything alive (Although sometimes I forget and 9 out of 10 times, the battery is dead by the time I want to drive it. Thus is the life of using a mini battery. lol.)

I purchased this Evo from the owner, Devin, of Speed Element Performance nearly 3 years ago. The car is smogged and ready to go AND Registration has been taken care of until April of 2011 also! The only thing this car needs is a new front lip, since the one on there is cracked from bottoming out.

**The car has a brand new clutch/flywheel, new pads and rotors (only been on the car for around 5k miles), as well as very new tires (90% tread), so you don't need to worry about replacing wear and tear items any time soon.

All installation work was done at Speed Element Performance in Fremont and tuning was done by Full Function in Hayward. The motor is freshly built and only has around 1,200 miles on it.

On 91 octane, it made 400whp/380wtq on a Mustang Dyno at 25psi on 91 octane at Full Function in Hayward. I'm sure on racegas or E-85, it'll break 500whp just fine, but I haven't had the chance (or motivation) to get it tuned on race gas.

I'm looking to get 25k for the car.

It seems that you have a good and interesting car. Are you giving any discount about Lancer Evolution Built 2.3 Stroker?

I'm sorry, I don't think I fully understand your question...?

i like the hiding everything in the engine bay.

Thanks! Actually, a lot of extra effort (and money), was put into custom fabrication work to make that happen.

First, I had to have a custom Upper Intercooler pipe made, which put the Tial 50mm BOV down behind the bumper.

Second, I had a custom cold air intake made, which put the open air filter down behind the opening the the bumper next to the license plate.

Third, I bought the HKS carbon fiber air box, sanded it down, painted it black, and trimmed it a bit to make it fit over the cold air intake.

Fourth, I had brackets welded onto the runners of the exhaust manifold, in order to bolt in the stock exhaust manifold heatshield on top.

This is how an EVO should be built... Perfect...

Thanks! A LOT of time, effort, and money was put into this car to make it what it was.

lol. That may be a problem for some, BUT, I DO have a driveshaft going to a rear diff, which moves the rear wheels! So I'm almost cool!! Unfortunately, my front wheels are connected to my transmission as well, so if I floor it during a turn, it doesn't really slide, my car kind of just turns really fast. God I miss my S13! :(

haha bump for your signature. that's great

Thanks! I saw it on another forum and thought it was pretty funny. I know it's probably wrong to even think that it's funny... but it still doesn't change the fact that it is. haha.

That's actually a good question... where is Chris Brown now?

lol. If I ever owned two of the same car, I don't think I would ever want two of the same color. Although I'm not discouraging you from buying! :D

Some more pics of the fenders, doors, and rear quarter panels of the car for those of you who are super anal about the exterior condition of the car. The previous owner, Devin, did drive the car to LA a lot, so there are rock a couple rock chips on the hood and one of the driver side fender (as you can see in the first pic.) Still, this Evo looks MUCH better than most 2003 Evo's I've seen.

I am one of those people who are super anal about where I park, and I WILL park at the ungodly far edge of a parking lot where no one wants to walk to, just to avoid getting any door dings/dents.

Here's some pics of the fruits of my extra labor. NO DINGS or DENTS! Muahahah!

Actually, the RRE Rally Cat I listed in the mod list is a 3" resonated test pipe with cat heat shields on it, so even if they looked under the car, it's still hard to spot anything. lol.

Hahahaha niceeee. I'd be all over that if I could afford it :( Prolly has air conditioning too...I'm so jealous. Power, handling, 4 door, a/c, low profile.

I'd ditch all my cars and just rock that. It'd be a beast and a daily :D

Edit: I do apologize, Mods. I know this thread should probably be closed by now since it's more, or less, been bumped quite a number of times.
