Good work.

Im new this drifting and i would never of thought Drifters were disrespectful like this.. I guess everyones trying very hard to get picked up..Even if that means to hit the other dudes car. Just to pick up some kudo points. Everyone puts time and money into their cars, at lease respect it enough to give them alittle space. Unless ur rich and dont give a shit..

Honestly its not being disrespectful "drift happens" look at the vert s13 he hit the barrier & broke his headlight he didnt do it purposely nor did it seem like he was pushed as well. Crashing always has & will be a part of drifting no matter what your skill level, heck i wrecked my previous s13 coupe 4 times (then i retired/sold it) before getting rid of it.
Now i respect if your all about how your car looks only but when you compete on track that beautiful fiberglass front bumper you/someone might have just bought can destroy it quicker than it took for them to pay for it, that's just how the sport is. Honestly if you cant take crashing too easily then drifting shouldn't be for you.
end of rant :rant2:

LOL that vert crashed on his own.. and thats understandable.. But this isnt a serious competition.. or is it? All i see is dudes not giving enough space for eachother.. Not everyone at that competition is pro or even at pro level.. Just trying to drift... And have fun.. isnt that what its all about? All i know is.. if anyone wanted to drift that event.. all u had to do was sign up and pay.. All im saying is people put money and time into their pride and joy.. at lease repect it enough to give alittle space.. just to try to prevent a accident..

Nope. You're wrong.
*end of rant*
In all seriousness though, if you're not close enough to hit, you're doing it wrong. This is drifting, get used to it. If you want a trailer queen great, but don't take it on the track. Especially with someone else.

The thing is you want to get close and apply some pressure on the front driver. Makes the run more exciting. This is all for the love of the sport. And keep in mind its not a matter if you gonna crash its when.

Your opinion is not wrong, you are just "new to drifting" as you said. In time maybe you will understand whats going on here. People go into ASB knowing they're about to dump tons of money into a car that might not make it out alive. Just part of the motorsport.
yeah, vimeo sometimes laaaaaags. Just give it some time, I hope you wont be disappointed.
To everyone, thank you so much for the great comments! The drivers made this video, I just pieced it together really. Thanks again.

this guy knowingly started tandeming which is two people trying to get really close to each other....if he wanted space....he could have gone last. No harm no foul....this IS the sport....if you want a pretty track car, you'll be driving alone.

Couldnt agree more honestly besides usually people go ape shit when people wreck more than when a driver is doing plain & simple lines.

+1 on the getting close. If your not at his door or bumper, your not driving hard enough.
And after the first time you hit something, you will be mad for a little while, but that fear of wrecking your baby kinda goes away and you will drive a lot harder.

green hatch intentionally t boned the Z33 350z? seems like the Z was already off course.
i'd be uber pissed if it was intentional

From what I heard the Z went off course then as others were initiating went back on course. Z being at fault for being careless.
Didn't attend this event so story may be wrong, but I've heard the same story from a few who attended the event.

if the z haddnt of entered on the line that wouldnt have happened. he came back on track carelessly, and it ruined someone elses car. he kept drifting like nothing happened, but the s13 cyrus was driving was finished.

The s13 is Tom's car and the 350z is Cyrus' car.

ASB is classified into 3 groups...newbies would not have been allowed to enter this part of the event u saw on video at night...accidents are one thing...they happen in any motorsport...knowingly putting in a complete newb into the mix is totally different, that wasnt the case...it was an accident...
