s13 rear hatch removal

I know that i seen a thread about this before but i cant find it anywhere.
So how do you take off a rear hatch on an s13? Im trying to fix a rust spot between the roof and the hatch, but i dont know how to take off the 2 black wires? I guess there for the heater but still clueless.

Just unclip all the wires and feed them through the holes. There are four bolts holding the hinges to the roof and one bolt on each strut that holds it up.

-Unclip wires
-Unbolt struts
-Unbolt hinge and BOOM

Rear defroster, antenna, brake lights, and wipers if so equipped.

You have to pull back the trim panels and unplug the harnesses from inside the car. Then work the harness through the rubber grommets on the body of the car and pull out together with the hatch.
