so through searching and finding the right person over @ tirerack (Luke) i found out that they can and do get kosei's in all offsets and they come in blanks to get drilled. so what they did carry not speacil was a 16x7.5 +32. i'm know that wont clear coilovers so i can either get 10mm spacers for them or i can get the special order 16x7.5 +22 which i would rather do because i dont wanna have to use the spacers. i found spacers on www.projectsilvia.com for $14 universal, whatever that means and then i think i would have to get extended bolts right? well i havent got a quote on the +22 wheel yet but i would rather get that. so what im trying to get to is should i get the +32 and use spacers and extended bolts and get the +22. this is to clear my Teins and im gonna be running 225/50/16 yokohama es100's on them. i read up on spacers and all i have to do is make sure the lugs are touqed properly, right? thanks

Well, still, if you can get the right offset on the wheel itself, go with that.

16x7.5 +32 should clear coilovers just fine.

With 225 tires it might not.

+22mm might contact the fender depending on camber. You could go +32 with a 5mm which would clear the fender and the coils. I have +35 with a 7mm spacer and it fits nicely. Or you could go +22 and have your fenders rolled. It's up to you really.

EDIT: or annother option is to go +22 and have them machine 3mm off the backpad.

Even if the +22 does hit the fender, get the fenders rolles. The +22 will look better too, and using spacers is not my cup of tea. The rght offset is always the way to go in most peoples books.

True enough.

A 225 tire on a +32 wheel will be 2mm closer to the strut than the stock wheel/tire setup (205 on +40). If you have stock wheels and 2mm to spare, they'll fit. If not, they won't.

He doesn't say which Tein variant he's using. The HE and HA very well might not clear. The Flex should.

i have tein HE's. im still waiting on a quote for the custom +22 offset. what i want is it to be flush w/ little to no hassle. i figures the +32 w/ 225 wouldnt clear and i thought that a 5 mm spacer might not clear the tiresize. maybe i should get 215 on the +22. ****, i'm at odds to what to do. i dont care bout rollin fenders, all it takes is a baseball bat. im still trying to figure out how to exactly calculate how much space there is and how i know it will clear. thanks

I have 17x7.5 at +23mm (with spacer) and have 235/40/R17 and have no problems with hitting the fender. You have nothing to worry about. Oh and my camber is at -1.9 degrees so it's nothing crazy.
