It seems the RB swap is not very well documented, as well as parts needed to do the swap. I think im going pretty in depth so I figured I'd share my build.

For those of you wanting to do this Swap, To do it correctly with reliability is not a cheap swap.

The Engine is pretty much complete right now minus sending the turbo off to get ported and fitted with new turbine wheels.

I plan on buying a Long block and rebuilding the bottom end, The reason I didnt with this one....Im impatient

Just waiting on Yury to finish the new Wiring harnesses so i can drop it in.

I got TONS of pics and lots documentation but i will just post sections at a time so it not just one huge pic thread, Unless thats what ya'll want.

Heres my S14 that the RB will be going into, Im NOT going for 800hp, this is pretty much gonna be a Family car/DD so 350whp will be good enough.

I want to say the turbo is blown, but im hoping the engine was laid on it side causing the oil to seep through the seals

As she sat, waiting on back ordered parts :( Ordered an N1 Water Pump, seems to be much controversy between the N1 and The OEM pump.
Ive hears the N1 is not good for DD'n......Guess I'll find out.

Bolted up easy had to bend a line on the Oil cooler but that was it.

So I have a few questions being a fellow 25 owner:
How did you do the port matching? Just color the head with a marker and line the IM up to it?
Who did you send the turbo off to to change the wheels out? How many pounds will you safely be able to run with metal compressor wheels vs those ceramic ones? Will spool time be greatly effected? Will you also port the exhaust manifold or do you see a reason to?

Yeah I marked around the ports matched up the IM gasket and etched the Gaskets ports and dremeled it out. The head did not needed to be ported seeing that the gaskets were a perfect match to the ports.

Turbo is going to be sent off to an Aussie shop called Hyper Gear.
Also the Max boost which the high flow can handle depending on the type of turbine housing that you want to send in or what we can find here. Generally standard RB25det turbine housing can handle about 16psi making about 240rwkws while the RB25detNEO turbine housings can handle about 18psi making around 260rwkws.
If you need we can provide the PU service which runs of a customized .82 turbine housing that is good for 20psi and 280rwkws .
The oil feeding line needs to have minimum of 3mm inner diameter including all the fittings on the way. We can supply the oil feeding line for $80AUD additional.

I will not port the Exhaust either seeing that this is just kinda a DD with some spirited Driving. But like said before the Stock ports are already match though. I will port match the turbo flanges though.

FINALLY!!!! After 2 months i had finally got my N1 Water pump! Along with my Nismo thermostat but the wrong dipstick.. :(

Now i can finally put the front section back to gether as well

Well i wanted to order some new valve cover grommets since the old ones are tired out and mushed, but i was unable to find if anyone has found a USDM equivalent one, so i set out to find one. I searched lowes/home depot, all the auto parts stores....but no luck

So i went to the junk yard to look at all the different Nissan/Toyota's to find a similar one I went to three junk yards scoping out all the engines.
At the last junk yard i came across a J30 with the Intake Manifold removed and found my answer
The 93 J30 VG30's Intake Cam Valve cover uses the exact same bolt/grommets. (im sure the other VG30's use the same, but id like to confirm it before i say so)

I had always suspected the VG30 would have them i was just unable to see them due to the I/M.

I searched the web for 3 hours trying to confirm the ones im seeing on the Web are the ones I need.
Ive never seen a NEW OEM grommet so i wasnt sure which was correct.

Sure i could have ordered them from The Nismo Shop but they want 3.00EA for them, but when you need 20 of them thats alot of money for grommets.

So the ones i found on the internet they sold for .95EA WAAYY Cheaper.

But being skeptical on the ones i found since ive never seen a New one I order them hoping for the best.

But i just got them in today and they are perfect, they even have the metal washer on top

Ill try too with the P/S Lines and coolant lines, the IM coolant hoses and stuff are prett straight forward, I just used the Greddy IM instructions, as far as the wire harness goes

EDIT: DIF controller D&C do not seem to hold up well with FAL's due to the high Amp draw, I already burned mine up after 5 months,
I would however recommend the DIF PWM Fan Controller which is reated at 60Amps and much more efficient and maintain's a more steady temp rather than fluctuating temps like the D&C

I need a clutch that could hold some TQ but soft enough for my Wife to drive it, so i decided on the

I had planned on using the the stock flywheel but it was pretty haggard when i pulled the clutch off of it.

I cleaned it up had it machined. (may not look it but its alot cleaner) The FW was pitted pretty bad so they had to machine it a good bit which is one reason I decided to get a new flywheel.

But not only was the condition of the FW the reason I decide to get another one but I remembered on my R33 the Revs were seemed kinda slow on the Rev and Recovery

Nice build you have going here. Oh, i was curious and checked on the valve cover grommets since mine needed replacing as well. They are up to $1.95 a piece. I guess they got a lot of hits and raised the price a dollar already

I dont think so, Minus the I/M and the flywheel clutch combo everything is necessary, But thats just me i guess, I figure why i got it out I might as well as do it all now to make life easier

All replaced with the Stock RB gasket Kit.

Stock RB H/G have been known to hold up to 500whp, with me only running 350ish, I'll be fine.

Its cool, supposedly the R33 Crossmember helps stiffen up the Chassis and The Syko kit looks cleaner and come with a Elbow that clears the steering shaft

Nice looking build, but that's expected from a reputable member like yourself. The fact that you used *mostly* quality parts from well-known brands that I like is also a :bigok:

Now someone needs to do one of these for an S14 SR swap (into an S14), tired of searching and finding nothing but S13 SR shit. Some of us don't want fuckin' S13 SRs...

heyyy nice build!!!,....i had the sr20store in gardena swap in my rb25 into my s14 but its not 100% done yet,..still need the last finishing touches when i get back from afghanistan :(

Thanks Jeff, I try to document everything I do especially when I disassemble engines So if it takes a long time to put back together and forget how hoses and lines run I can look back at the pics especially when ppl here need pics ans help.

So I took it to a local machine shop and had them wire brush the ports and runners and throw it in a tumbler

And since I dont want it to rust, I got some High Temp paint (VHT) and gonna plaint it aluminum.

The only aftermarket exhaust manifold that I've seen, that people run without a ton of modification, is the godspeed one.

aftermarket is always better though, right? /sarcasm
seriously though, if you're looking for a top mount, I think having it custom made at a fab shop is the only way to go, and thats $$$$

I've seen ppl use the stock PS line but from what ive seen its been a real stretch to make it work sooooo fuck it I got one.

Got a deal at Enjuku on the ISIS Short throw shifter I just couldnt pass up and Picked up the new ISIS BOV Flange

If ya'll didnt know ISIS BOV flanges can unscrew if you ever wanted to change the BOV with out cutiing and rewelding

Kinda a S14 IC install, When I got my Core It didnt come with any hardware and the only S14 install's Ive kinda seen either require some crazy ass/sucking mounting that required drilling into the lower core support or somthing so I set out to find some mounting brackets i could use that didnt require drilling into the lower core support

So i set off to build/find some brackets to use without having to drill into the lower core support (to avoid rusting)

So i found these brackets at Lowes

Cut Off the hook

I will probably drill out and replace that little Phillip head screw with a bigger bolt

So right now Im that guy that rolls around town with a Interfooler.
The day i Installed it it was a bout to rain, so i said fuck it, plus since the car didnt come with a bumper reinforcement i left it on since it helped support the bumper lol

This build is looking great. Props on everything and hopefully when I do my swap, it will be looking this good. I am also a believer in quality parts so you don't have to replace it again. Alot of people don't understand the reason to spend 2 times the amount of a cheap product on a good product. You usually have to replace your cheap product when it breaks and then buy another cheap product as a replacement, your spending the same amount as you would have on a good part and still have a cheap product.

Def. subscribing and I can't wait to hear this thing

As far as the R33 crossmember stiffening up the chassis would the R32 one i have do the same? Can i use the R32 one as well for an RB25 swap?

Also if you are using the proper cross member why the need for the aftermarket SYKO engine & tranny mounts & why not go with maybe NISMO replacements since its going to be street driven mostly.

Cant wait to hear this thing run GL man.

To my knowledge you cannot use the the R32 CM with the RB25 due to the mount designs.

Russell @ NissanParts.cc can get you a Brand New R33 crossmember for a good price.

While the engine can be bolted in by simply using the R33 crossmember, the factory rubber mounts situate the engine too high and too far forward. This does not give proper clearance for the hood or electric fans. Furthermore, the biggest issue is that the turbo exhaust elbow (O2 housing) will not clear the steering shaft. While many people use primitive methods to get around this (cutting and grinding) this can be a serious safety issue. The best solution we've found is to build a custom tubular exhaust elbow which gives substantial clearance to prevent the steering system from binding. Having peace of mind on the track makes it well worth spending the extra money to purchase our kit. Lastly, without our kit, you will need to fabricate a transmission bracket as well as a custom driveshaft. Paying a shop to do this for you would not be cost effective.

uuhh... I can't see a difference in the cross-members. I think you are right about not being able to use the R32 one, but I've never been able to tell the difference solely from pictures. Can someone please elaborate? (this is all just out of curiosity, as I already have a R33 crossmember)

Oh, and how long did it take to get your Skyo mounts? (did you order from them directly?) any mention of how their customer service has been, and quality of their product?

So ive been searching for an RB25 dipstick to replace my old cracked one.

I've been searching for a while on a US spec one and tried ordering a R34 RB25 one from The Nismo Shop. Turns out its too short. Then said they had one for the R33 RB25, well ordered it and it came in well it was too long.

So im tired of searching for this damn part (damn my OCD) So decided to make it work.

The Dipstick i used is from a 2000-2006 Sentra, 1.8 QG18DE; P/N 11140-4Z002

The sentra Dipstick has a Roll pin that holds it in so i just knock out the roll pin

I ended up cutting the RB DS to (MEASUREING FROM THE "L" MARK) Cut it to 40.3CM and slide it into the Sentra's Handle. Then drill out the hol for the roll pin, Insert and Done.

So you should get about 39CM from the bottom of the Yellow Handle to the "L" Mark
Full Length should be 42.6CM of the Silver Stick you cut

Sure your thinking why not cut the Sentra's stick to length, well the Cross Hatching for the "Safe Zone" is bigger on the Sentra.

If all my Measurements are correct, this should get you pretty close to an OEM one (depending on your measurements and cutting you should get around +/- 1 CM for what i got, Which should be fine seeing that you shouldn't be running your oil right on the "L" Mark anyway.

But Just in case can one of you RB25 guys measure your DS from the bottom of the orange lip (the lip that touches the top of the tube down to the "L" Mark? Just to make sure haha *Possibly in CM? :D

LoL wow, people think they are a good deal because they "look good". Welcome to the RB club and don't throw away that stock RB fan and fan clutch. You can make it fit on the S14's but you have to trim the radiator support and drill new mount holes. I find it keeps the car way cooler than the dual pullers.

Cometic sells gaskets for the RB motors cheaper than the nissan units. The exhaust manifold gasket is metal unlike the stock and $27ish.

Works great I used it when I changed manifolds. I also used the lower intake manifold gasket (intake manifold to head) that they sell too. WAY better than the stock paper gasket (RB20). Only thing I didn't use was the head gasket don't trust those I used a Tomei gasket.

Yeah they match the ports perfect no extra work needed. I installed SR20 exhaust manifold studs on my head because the runners on my exhaust manifold. they were just too long and I wouldn't be able to install it.

Very nice write up and very informative. I am in the same boat as you S14 with series 2 RB25 swap. I just need wiring, clutch pedal install, fuel pump, custom DP and misc. things installed. Let me know who will you use for the wiring job or who you would recommend.

I've done tons and tons of RB wiring conversions, from mild (basic inspection, power and dash harness conversions) to wild (my Mil-spec tucked/loomed RB25 harness with Mil-spec circular connectors).

Yury does good work, i had him do my SR harness 3 years ago. Never had an Issue

And hes making new premade harness's, which is what ill be getting when they are completed

I've heard good things about his work, and he's been around forever, but heard that the wait times get ridiculous. Never used him myself (obviously).

Before I start I know i could get some Mishimoto single fans and mount them but i want the FAL's since they cover more surface area and the RB's need the cooling systems kept in check.

So I got in my new condenser today, I figured Id replace it since I'll be reclaiming the freon and pulling it to install the the FAL's
Plus seeing that 12 years of elemental damage isnt helping the cooling capacity

Current condenser, doesnt look bad but the fins are worn pretty thin in the bottom plus the design is 12 years old

So here is gonna be the tricky part, making the FAL's, condenser, and Koyo Rad fit up front without cutting the core support or anything drastic. Im not gonna lie when it comes to me fabricating its not pretty, but damn it, it will work haha.
so from the bottom of the lower core support lip to the Koyo I have about 6.5cm (2.5 in)

the New condenser is a little bit thicker Pretty much what im gonna do is mount the FAL's to the condenser and reloacate the condenser closer to the Koyo (these are Pusher fans)

here is a side measurement (unsprung) looks like I have plenty of room but the bottom the FAL covers have a .5 mil lip

there is a .5cm lip that is where the Lower core support lip will hit, Which makes it sit at about 6.0cm, I guess i could shave it down if needed

But when mounted and pressure applied I can get it back down to 5.5 CM which will give me just enough maybe

I know you need a little bit of space inbetween the condenser and Radiator but I think running a pusher I wont have to worry about it. But there will be about a 1cm space due to this outlet tube.

Nah man dont worry about it, I'll just go to a junk yard and and delooom a J30 MAFS cable haha.
Not even 100% sure im even gonna use this harness, Kinda afraid to use it due to the condition (not having the physical plugs to verify the correct wires. I got to go off of colors and tracing back to the ECU pinouts) and wiring guides Ive found and used.

Traced back the unknown wires to found out they are not important (Exhaust temp light and ABS related)

I think i have all the grounds as well, Couldnt find anymore loose wires, So I guess there is only 3 grounds.

So apparently I can use the Lower KA harness

And the Knock Sensor section is the only section that I need from the RB lower harness minus the Oil Pressure plug, and possibly the Tranny plugs and a swap of the Starter Solenoid plug

Lol the factory knock sensor is two steps away from totally worthless. If you're using it to tune your car, you need to stop and contact a pro.

Also, standalones don't use the oem knock sensor, so no one with built motors uses them either.

All the post and pinouts I've found, they are saying they are the same (or similar) as the 96 with a different wire or two, but from the pinouts ive posted and the ones Im finding they are matching up the same

Haltech Platinum Pro uses OEM knock sensor. I think the new AEM series use it too--Nistune obviously.

Plenty of people run PFCs without knock control though...

If you've got a good tuner, it shouldn't be a problem, but I figure it's always good to have an extra fail safe for those hot days and extra crappy gas.

I'm more interested to see you fit all the AC/rad/fan stuff though, as there's barely any room with my setup--but S14 has just a bit more room than an S13.

Got the Z32 Shielded Wire, A Kouki Wiper plug from a (EDIT) Infinity I30 and a MAFS for the RB Series I plug from the I30 as well

Im quite surprised I found a plug that will fit on the RB Series I MAFS but the problem is the pin out id differnet from the RB MAFS pin out so you gotta repin it. (Not hard at all)

because if you read his post you would've seen he pulled them from an IS300 you know TOYOTA. They fit into the oem plug sockets. Most japanese car makers use the same plug manufacturer for their harnesses, so he lucked out finding those parts on a different make, good to know some Toyota plugs can be adapted to the S-Chassis.

I dig your workstation, Jeff (GSXXRJordan) has a soldering station just like that, it's his favorite thing in the world.

Well the Schematics are showing that the Series 1 is a 4 wire Plug but the MAFS has 5 pins, I guess 1 is not used?

but had to repin the connectors for the RB MAFS and the Kouki wiper motor (very easy took like 2 mins)

A BIG noticeable difference after everything, Steering is much more responsive and stiff.

The Tein Tie Rods came with steering angle spaces.
I must say i never expected that a 1/4in metal ring would make such a noticeable difference in steering angle

yeah a def need to get some Angle adjuster tie rod ends

Dunno if it'll fit with your fancy condenser but with the stock one on an S14, you will be able to barely fit a clutch fan by just bashing the upper core support a bit if any.

I had to cut my upper core support and drill new holes to move the radiator forward enough for the fan clutch to fit with my Koyo. Mckinney mounts.

I want to put in my clutch fan so bad but I do not want to cut my rad support at all. Im on ZeroLift mounts and there is not much space. Even my E-fans are mm's from my pulleys.

sileighty85 Im debating the exact same thing and what I am leaning towards is the flexalite 106-398( these things are supposedly 1 3/8" thick). I'm thinking of mounting 2 of these in front of my condenser and fabbing up a piece of plastic that seals up the area around both of the fans to draw in the air while the car is at a stop and possibly a smaller fan on the other side that is controlled through a switch. I heard not even the FAL fans fit properly so upon reading about many other peoples setup the front pusher setup sounds ideal to me.

Sounds good, Id make sure that the fans can push the 2500cfm (seems to be the best cfm)

Still in development, they were having issues with finding and ECU plug and are in the process of making them now. Still no date or ETC.

I'll be sending my harness I "Repaired" and "Converted" to Yury to have him inspect it, since the harness was so hacked up.

If i had an unfucked harness Id probably trust it but dont wanna risk frying my ECU

So i finally got in my Hyper Gear Turbo
I wanted a turbo that bolted up to the stock exhaust and down pipe since i spent a good bit on the SYKO mount set. Not looking for 500hp just somthing more than stock so this turbo will do just fine

HyperGear - 450HP RB25det Hiflow Turbo (http://www.digi-hardware.com/rb25t3hiflow.html)

Conversion is moderately priced, Shipping is what pushes it over the top. It would be about $200 total in shipping since they are located in Australia.

Instead of sending my turbo to them they were able to locate a R33 turbo over there for the same price that it would cost to ship. So im able to keep the turbo an rock it if I were waiting on it to come in.

The Max boost which the high flow can handle depending on the type of turbine housing that you want to send in or what we can find here. Generally standard RB25det turbine housing can handle about 16psi making about 240rwkws while the RB25detNEO turbine housings can handle about 18psi making around 260rwkws.
If you need we can provide the PU service which runs of a customized .82 turbine housing that is good for 20psi and 280rwkws .
The oil feeding line needs to have minimum of 3mm inner diameter including all the fittings on the way. We can supply the oil feeding line for $80AUD additional.

When I did a swap for a buddy he had to get rid of his wiper fluid spray bottle cause of the IC piping. Will you have to get rid of that? If so, are you going to replace it with anything at all?

Thanks, No idea on the washer fluid yet once i get the engine in and plumb the IC piping ill look into it, more than likely ill relocate it.

Engine install is scheduled to be installed tomorrow morning so i hope everything will go smoothly.

The washer fluid bottle/container is a tide fit with the cold pipe there, but it will fit. I did it with my SR swap. But make sure to grind down the sharp ends of the tow hook so it would not create a hole on your cold pipe.

I couldn't beleived this shit happened, I thought i was dreaming when i pulled my hand out and my fingers be basically flat.

I thought I was gonna loose them, and after Xrays the surgeons were surprised they weren't worse. My middle finger is fractured an the ring finger was split down the middle.

They hooked me up with some morphine, numbed my entire hand and i got to watch them drill in the pins to my fingers.

thanks guys, yeah i got pretty lucky the damage was minimal. I thought it was worse.

Pain is not too bad when the percocets kick in. haha

I was really pissed this happened the day before the swap. I really thought about having the wife do the swap but I fear she is not strong enough to move some of the stuff around.

After 3 years of searching I finally found a cheap AE86 GTS Coupe in awesome condition
Picked her up for $700 and came with some conversions mounts to drop in an SR20, which i have an extra SR lying around with enough spare parts to make it run lol

Alright So i got home popped a percocet and for some reason got the urge to do some work on the S14.

I first planned to just drill out the IC piping but due to the piping construction i need to wait until the Engine is dropped in so i can find the Exact location.

Then decided to work on fabing the FAL and new condenser.

So it might seem that my original plan might work out really well with out having to cut or weld of any upper core support just some minor drilling possibly

Due to the construction of my new condenser i can relocate the mounting tabs by drilling out the old rivets and re-riveting the bracket on the other side

Also got word from Yury that my harness is finished.

I sent it off to him to have it check it over , he said i had a few mistakes (doesn't surprise me at all) but that i did a real good job repairing it.

he cleaned it up shortened the harness and replaced a few wires

I decided to drop the chassis on top of the engine for simplistic reasons

Its time consuming but its not a pain in the ass.

So first start off by having your wife remove the sway bar

Then the tension rod bracket

Remove wheels and disconnect tie rods

(I would advise to place all bolts into the spots you took them out of to keep from losing them)

Then remove the bolt from the steering shaft so you can drop the rack and pinion with the KA crossmember,
Put a mark on the shaft and U-Joint to you can put the seering shaft back in the same place

Now unbolt the LCA and slide them to the side

Position the RB to where you can drop the chassis on top of it

You can hook up the wire harness if you want, I used the KA lower harness
All i had to do was extend the Starter wire
unwrap and pull the Alt wires towards the front 6-8inches.
Ive heard you have to swap the Tranny plugs but mine used the same plugs as the RB
OR you can just swap the KA sensors onto the RB

I forgot to grab the oil pressure plug and the VSS plug from the RB harness so ill do it later

Once you got it lined up begin droping the chassis on top
You will need to remove the TB and Turbo hot pipe before lowering the chassis on it

Heres a tricky part
align your marks up that you made prior to separation
BARELY make it to where they meet, align the splines and drop the chassis a 1/4 inch at a time and wiggle the shaft to make sure it doesnt bind

once you get the studs through the CM throw the nuts on there and drop it the rest of the way and tighten up the nuts

Did a little work today

Got the A/C condenser installed,

I put 4 little blocks of rubber to help keep the condenser off of the Rad and then put some weather stripping along the sides to help force the air through the Rad.

Right now its just the Stock R33 turbo on there since i wanted to get the car running just stock (although it probably wouldnt be a big deal to putting the Hyper gear one on) Its just I already had the R33 one on.

The oil line (Not from ya'll) I got on there is kinda short so thats why i routed it that way.

While i got ya here so the lowest that actuator will go is 18psi?

I have been contemplating on bolting up ya'll turbo this week, but wanted to wait until a tune and bigger injectors. Would ya'll turbo be fine to use with the stock ECU tune? (of course not boosting 18psi)

Cool. I thought it was the high flowed unit. The actuator is rated to 18psi and so’s the rest of configurations. The final boost depending on the intake system, as well as the exhaust. Ie. if I run no exhaust and a 4inch intake I would likely to gain 2~3 psi.

You can run the turbo with stock tune and fuel mods on low boost or drive it easy. I would definitely do a tune with supporting mods before I drive it hard.

I would recommend relocating AFM to cooling piping and run a straight 3inch metal pipe with a pod filter, factory rubber hose is restrictive and will suck it self shut under high boost.

Got the power steering system finished But need to find a proper feed line to handle ATF, and finished the Oil catch system, probably need to get some heat shielding for the hoses.

I'm an AGE Mechanic, Not too sure on the life of a SF, I know it can be tough depending on the base, When i was in Okinawa I did Augmentee (a volen-told cop) that base was hurting on bodys and we had to pull 13 hr shifts with a 3 on, 4 off, then vice versa

Yeah i know, lol but I have the same hoses on my SR and its meh, I put some spark plug heat sheilds over the areas closest to the heat and they kinda hold up, they are all brown and hardend right now haha, but yeah ive been looking at thermal hoses and gonna wait until next payday to order them so hopefully they will hold until then :P

uhhh ive heard ppl say BOV response and helps prevent compressor surge (if any) seeing that onece the Trottle body shuts it doesnt have to travel back through the IC system in a sense

But i have it on my the Hot Pipe of my SR and never had an issue but maybe its cuz I rock a Type R :P

Stick an Extension in the side pipe and rotate is kinda gently, once it breaks loose then wiggle it side to side while pulling up

My camera's mic is pretty sensitive so it picks up the FALS's pretty loud
and I got an exhaust leak at the downpipe due to shitt fitment and no gasket so thats what that pulsing squeak is if you hear it I think

So im wondering, I dumped about 4.7Qt into the engine and its only barely above the L Mark.

FSM says 4.1 to the H marks and when using a oil changerr 4.5

Do ya'll think its because the engine was basically bone dry?

And just to make sure from what ive read the R33 Manual Tranny hold 3.8ish liters correct?

I don't consider ISIS parts to be cheaping out like I used to. I have yet to see a shady part from them, and in my area, every 240 seems to have something from them. (and all the 240s around here see the track) and I aam running their entire adjustable suspension arms myself (stance coils though)

1 year to get the RB running isn't bad at all. I will be passing that mark in about 3 months lol

I agree, I have their Control arms as well on the S14 and have yet to have any issues with them.

Yeah I found one Vac leak at the throttle body helped out alot.

If they are FAL's you can get pusher blades and reverse the polarity for the + & - and make them pushers

Nah with the Mounts You need the SYKO Mounts kit and just the R33 Crossmember which you can get a Brand New one from Nissanparts.cc

Top Mount set up is gonna have to be all custom as far as the turbo elbow and downpipe

I have an ISIS core with the Mckinney piping.

Intercooler works great I have pics in here on how i mounted it.

I went and drove it around all day, Drives like a dream!!!

It wants to scream in 2nd, but cannot boost it until i get my BOV flange welded on

Cooling system is awesome holds steady at 67* C

Like I said before , I would post mine but it would look like a re-run, lol. the only thing that im doing different is that I am running stock exhaust and running a 3" electric cut-out on the DP because cops in the bay area suck major A$$. Wish I can run that dope isis exhaust you got but it would draw alot of attention from the authorities BTW is the intercooler that you are using the one listed as the M-spec on enjuku racing?

yeah it pretty loud but its not that bad inside the cabin, at least on a full interior S14.

Not sure on the model they had in in the clearance section for $100 cuz the top mount was damaged in shipping.

So ive been having a random issue with a misfire/Rich condition, Im thinking its the CTS cuz my DIF controller is not working correctly,

But Drove great all day.

I pull codes and Got a Code "21 Ignition Signal". Anybody know what this exactly relates to? CAS or Ignitior? I have an Extra Ignitior, So that would be awesome if that was the problem.

UPDATE

Changed the Ignitor out and now I got a Code 54 witch is a "A/T Control"

Anybody know whats up with that?

Well so i replaced it last night, threw that A/T code (didnt drive it last night) It starts alot better though now,

Fired it up this morning and the code is gone, Drove like a champ for an hour.

So I think I fixed it ^_^

ECU is from a Manual though, I ran the P/N through FAST

Cuz the crank case needs Neg. Crank case pressure to help seal the piston rings and helps with drive ability.
Thats how it is set up stock as well minus the OCC.

Alright so im probably gonna end up replacing all the electronic components with new ones MAFS, CAS, CTS

Cuz I fired it up, drove it for 5 mins then it shut down, Got code 21 again.....
Cleared code, Checked all connections, tired starting the car for like 10 mins, it would fire once then shut down,

Shits and gigs I unpluged the MAFS and it fired right up! reved fine but running in safe mode so while the engine idling I plugged the MAFS back it it initially stumbled but began idling fine and reved fine hell even drove fine and started fine since then.... weird

UPDATE: Turns out it was the MAFS, I put another one in there and havent had an Issue since
