So when i plug the line to my BOV, i rev a little bit, the idle starts bouncing up and down, car shakes, and then it dies sometimes.
all those problems go away when i leave the BOV unplugged.
could there be any other reasons why its doing that?
thanks.

do you have it set up for atmospheric release? That will always happen. One way to avoid it is to get a SAFC I,II b/c it can literately "trick" the ECU to believe the lost air, from the BOV release, wasn't there to begin with an not flood the car out.
Be careful about running atmospheric as it can make you run so rich that you'll get oil past the rings and dilute your oil; I've seen spun bearings from this.
Some BOV's will work better with an atmospheric setup, I know the plunger style really fu*k things up.

Don't tee it off the FPR, if it leaks your fpr wont raise the fuel pressure like it is supposed to.

1.Check if your BOV is installed too close to Throttle body. It might cause that.
2.Try to adjust BOV spring tension to make it stiffer it it is adjustable.
3.Make sure your BOV is "Good Kind" !! Greddy one is recommended by many other people. Or Put stock one back in.. thats the best one out there. Hope you don't have some Chinese copy BOV.
4.Check if your idle control valve is ok. that was my problem.
