Dyl510

The thing cranks and cranks, lots of little "puts" and a few backfires, but it just will not start!
ECU is wired correctly (it's in a Datsun 510) and power is going everywhere it needs to go.
Each cylinder coil is sparking when the engine cranks, and it's got brand new plugs.
It's getting fuel (I can hear the injectors firing with a stethoscope, and the old plugs were covered in fuel when I pulled them out). Fuel pressure is set at 43-45psi, brand new stock injectors as well. From experience working on carbed motors I can't help but think that the engine is being flooded... but how!?
To me its almost like the timing is off..... but the engine was pulled out of a running car, and I didn't touch the internals or any crank/cam sensors... so the timing shouldn't have been altered.
I've been scanning some posts, lots of people saying to disconnect the MAF and try (still nothing), or disconnect the temp sensor (still nothing). This thing just will not fire up!
Any ideas? Faulty ECU?
