S13 DIY Front Lip! Anyone try this?

I'm thinking about giving this a try tomorrow and see how it comes out but if anyone has done it already can you post better pics of it?
Also I read the guy used his OEM lip behind the DIY lip. Well, I don't have a OEM lip and wanted to know will this still work?

you dont need an oem lip or any lip at all. your front bumper should already have holes in the bottom of it where the oem lip bolts on, so you can use those holes.

for my s14 i used Diamond Lox from Home Depot in the garden section and then i just bought some bolts washers and nuts to bolt them on to my bumper. its a tough material, but it is bendable, cost me about $9 for the diamond lox and $5 for the nuts and bolts.

might be a little bit tedious to put on, but you will figure it out, its pretty much self-explanatory when you get under the bumper with all your supplies.



heres what mine looks like now. it is a little short on the sides but it works and looks great. definitely worth the $14 if you dont have a lip at all. good luck bro! post pics of your results!

I have that same dimond lok on my Q bumper, it is a bit short on the sides :/ but it looks good though

not a bad little trick, i don't like how the lip sits so far back though. (guess there is not much option for the stock 13 bumper

Damn I'm glad my 240 came with the oem lip if it didn't I'd do this Fasho though got a buddy who made a lip for his 86 after a quick trip to home depot as well lol
