So, car's running great on my Enthalpy Ecu, no probs whatsoever besides a tiny tiny tiny coolant leak which i'm close to finding, driving nearly every night, however my clusters still don't work. They are getting power, the cel/other warning lights do come on when the key's turned to accessories, however the cluster doesn't light up when i turn the lights on and rpm/mph/temp gauge doesn't work and fuel gauge will go all the way up/past full at times when i know i have nowhere close to a full let alone half a tank. I'm thinking maybe it's a ground however i don't know why that would cause the lights to also stop working. Later today i plan to take the dash out and see what's going on behind there, check all my fuses, and search zilvia/nico/google to see if anyone has had this problem. Though i've been driving the car the past month to meets and such with no problem, a cluster would be a great luxury. Hopefully if i can figure this out i can start doing my L.E.D conversion, any input would be greatly appreciated.

check you harness under the driver side fender. a friend of mine had this same problem on his S14.. turned out his wires were chewed up for being so low, he didnt bother tucking it away when he slammed his car. I had to re-wire all of the chewed wires. and everything is well now.
Good luck

No clue really what that is, however...Took the dash off, don't really know what grounds to check for, fml.

Grounded all three plugs, tach worked for a few seconds, then went dead again. Grounded it over and over just as i did that first time, still nothing. HALP.
p.s, i took the dash off to clean up behind the dash, dust annoys me intensely.

i had this same problem...check your tcu...its a white little box behind the usdm driver kick panel next to fuse box...but that would only explain the lights not the gueages not working...so check your ecu wires...did it work b4 you changed the ecu? next thing...ive seen and done myself once... check that you are plugging in the cluster correctly...turst me it happens... i did it and went crazy for like a month looking for the problem...the shorter plug shouls be plugged in closes to the fuel level...try the plugs first... might me that easy...lmk how that goes... good luck

make sure all the sub-harnesses are connected all the way. My dash had the same issues when I re-located the wiring from underneath the fender to over the strut tower. I plugged all the connectors, however one was halfway plugged in. Clipped it all the way and viola!

slow40, are your needles blue? Do you have a nighttime pic of your cluster?

So i checked my connections, made sure they were tight...
Then checked my TCU box (the white one right next to fuse box), tightened it some more with a 10...
Still nothing. Next step, maybe run a permanent ground to the cluster and if that still doesn't work, take off my whole front end and check my harness along the fender and into the bay and such. Any advice/input would greatly be appreciated, 240sxmotoring meet in CT this weekend and i've been looking forward to it all year, hesitant to drive it out there without a temp gauge...if worst comes to worst, maybe use a stick in thermometer just for the long drive =X
