Hard Starting Problem-Stock ka

Hey everyone, so I just picked up an 89 hatch as my first car. =] It's all stock, pretty clean all around, but during the past week or so though the car has had some hard starting on and off. Doesn't really matter what temperature I don't think; but pretty often now, it will turn over and just begin to bog out and has almost no throttle response. Its kinda getting worse but sometimes it still starts up perfectly on the first try. I looked around and couldn't really find a situation like mine to help me out. =\

check for fuel and spark, if you get that then it could be a vcuum leak. go from there

Thanks alot, i'll check everything out, idk if would be spark though because cause it turns over perfectly fine every time it just bogs out sometimes, i guessed it would be fuel pump but i wasn't going to spend any money without asking around a little... i'll check out the vacuum too though thanks again
