You are fucking retarded!! Ride height is personal preference, obviously! Set it to what you like, not what some jack asses on this form think is uber JDM style tyte. And rebound settings depend on what your doing and where.

Set dampening to full stiff.
Flip bottom bracket.
Remove bottom collars and place them below said bracket.

i know you dont have to get all butt hurt. im just trying to figure out the proper way or how do i know how much rebound rate to put. how compressed should i make the spring?

I'm in a helping mood tonight.

The way I adjust my preload is to put enough tension that the spring won't move up and down or spin excessively freely but not so much where the spring won't spin.
