A month or so back I had to replace my mani out to turbo in gasket. I bought all new studs and nuts and used locking washers to ensure they didnt back out. After a couple of weeks my car now makes a screaming noise when I hit about 4000 rpms. I checked my exhaust for cracks and didn't see anything. All the exhaust connections look tight. Could this sound have anything to do with intake? Has anyone else here experienced a similar problem?

does it happen when you build boost?
If so your turbo is blown

I still have full boost, but now that I think about it it could be only under boost that I hear the noise, not the 4k rpm. What would be the best way to prevent my turbo from freezing?

Gonna fix this shit for $2

Went to Ace Hardware and bought a new stud for 1.50. Used a lock washer on each side of the bolt and I used two nuts to secure it for good.
Wrapped what I could reach of the turbo in to mani out with heat resistant tape and VIOLA noise is gone. Now I have to find my oil leak X_X
