Car was originally a base model 240 but has factory upgrades like sunroof, and upgraded factory stereo (has rear amp and tweeters in a-pillars), and leather seats. I’ve put a lot of repairs and maintenance into this car. All repairs were done by a professional mechanic. Car has typical dings for a car of its age. Also has a small dent on the driver’s side door. Original paint in good condition. Roof and hood are starting to show signs of oxidation. Exterior of car was recently detailed, polished and waxed. Exterior is 7 out of 10.
I replaced several interior pieces. Dash has no cracks. Radio bezel was replaced as well as the ac surround. Recently detailed the interior and cleaned the carpets and seats. **Swapped in base model front and rear seats with matching door panels** Interior is 9 out of 10.
I've also done a lot of maintenance on the motor. Car runs great. AC blows cold. Automatic Transmission was never abused and runs strong. Great daily driver. Very reliable and lots of potential.
OK, now the not so bad...
One of the front tension rod bushings is leaking and all four shocks should be replaced. Second, the trunk release is acting up. But if you pull it twice, it opens fine. Third, I only have one key, and it's a spare, so it doesnt open the trunk. Sorry, it was only key that was given to me when I bought it. Also, the gas tank filler hose is not secured to the filler door. Minor fix, I think it just needs to be bolted up again, probably mssing a bolt. Finally, it appears the car was involved in minor accident. Looks like someone backed into the front and the rear bumpers. Not sure what happened, but there is no structural damage to the vehicle, just minor creases in the bumpers, not really that bad.
**Radio is not working and speakers are done. Don't know whats wrong with headunit, but you'll prolly want to change it anyway.**
Otherwise, all else is good.
Must drive to appreciate. Great Daily, Lots of Potential!!!
