Any idea what offset they are?
with a 7inch wide wheel I'd probably rock some 225/40s or 235/40s, but that's just me.

Knowing the offset will help. Im going to guess its in the +30 range

weak sizes for wheels man. I know they were free. but 7 inches wide is stock.

anyway. If you are going to run them, without spacers and be a sunken battleship haha. just get 195's. i'd probably run like a 195/45/17.

depending on how low you are tho. you might want to get a 195/35/17, just for the smaller sidewall so you can stay low.

im not one to stretch tires on a 7 inch wide rim. I don't imagine fitting them will be a problem. just stick with the proper width of tires

EDIT. ignore what i said. with a +40 offset you are probably going to rub, or may have brake clearance issues. do a test mount with just the rims and make sure they clear

17 by 7 +40 is retarded on s chassis! Sell those to a Honda buddy and save for proper size wheels that you'll be happy with. Only way to make them fit is huge spacers otherwise. And definitely don't stretch tires on a wheel that narrow. If anything they need a 235/45 or a 225/45
