Hey guys,

I don't post much. I've been on here for awhile, but I can't get into my other account.

A few days ago my mother asked me to move my car so she could go somewhere. When I went to start it up, I had trouble starting it - it would start right up and when it did it died..the second time I tried it started and ran. So I drove it around just to see if it would die again, but it ran perfect. The next day I went out to try and start before I left and i started right up no problem. When I got back home, the car was fighting to start up again. It started, but when I got it down to the driveway it stalled and cut off. I got it back up the driveway and started trouble shooting.

I notice at first that whenever I would turn the ignition, all functions BUT the Power FC would turn on. I checked the wiring and all, no problems there. Eventually I narrowed it down to what i think was water in a relay or something, because when I took off the relay and put it back in the problem went away. So, the power FC is working, but the car still won't start up.

Next Inspected the engine. Don't ask why, but something told me to take the Valve cover off. When I got it off, I found my Spark plugs covered in oil to where you couldn't even see the top them..So I took them out, cleaned them off and put everything back in place. tried starting it back up but nothing.

Today I inspected alot of ignition issues that I though might be related. I found a ripped coil pack wire, solder it and still won't go. Although it did come much closer to starting after doing so.

Now all it will do when I turn the key is turn over once and make this rapid clicking noise...

Possiblities? I think the engine might be getting to much fuel, Bad Coil packs, or something as simple as change the oil...

ALSO: after messing with the relays, my auto timer won't stay on either. I'm hoping someone can help me out if anyone has experienced anything like this.

I'll make a video or whatever is needed to help out with replies

Always gotta go back to the basics and make sure engine is getting fuel and spark. If its not getting one of them. Trace it back.

pull one of the injectors and try starting it, see if it shoots fuel.

Check fuel pump, filter and injectors.

make sure its getting a spark. just keep tracing it back till you find the problem

It gets fuel and air, but no spark...I took the spark plugs out and grounded them to the block to see if there was any spark, but nothing. The fuel pump primes and I smell the gas coming from the engine and checked the injectors as well.

I haven't checked the CAS, but I may be able to check the ignitor in a few days

Anyone have a Power FC? My commander reads that my ignition timing is at 3 degrees with the car turned off and when I crank it, it goes up to 4 sometimes...Is this normal?

I was pulling the wiring harness through the firewall and the fusible link to the ECU blew..it's a 25A. I also pulled the plugs and they were wet and smelled like fuel today. I tested a screwdriver on a coil pack and still got no spark. Any ideas?

a couple months ago, mine was blowing the ignition Fuse.I traced the problem to the coil harness behind the engine. It had been rubbing to the point were the wire was exposed and touching metal. This was causing it to blow the ignition fuse every time i wanted to turn it on.So check that area
