fully built SR20de s14

im nearing the end of a very long build (about 6 months) and have changed my mind on what i want to get. the car when i picked it up had an sr20det that was completely stock, a set of work s2 rims, stance gr+ coil overs, and a body kit. after blowing a rocker arm i decided to just built the motor, and its a damn good thing i did, because the bearings were DONE. so about $28,000 in parts and labor later the car is nearing completion, and its not that i dont want to the car, but i found something ive wanted for a LONG time. so here we have the car before i started doing everything to it.

yes the bumper is beat to shit, and its sitting dirty, but thats the last picture i have of it in tact. it also has a color matched kouki wing.

i would really like to see the car sell for $28,000 seeing that there is at least 40,000 in parts, labor, and price of car.

its funny that you find that unreasonable, the front bumper is messed up? big deal, that shit only costs like 550 for a whole nismo kit? the defi den costs that much? engine is being built and tuned by mike angel of fxmd (cricket wireless nsx). btw that is it being taken apart, the block hasnt come back yet.

oh and this means the motor will have like 1000 miles on it, just enough to be broken in and tuned.

yeah man it sounds nice and all but 28k is pretty steep, might want to think about parting it out.

In all seriousness, you want to make close to that, make the car look good. Get another bumper, fix all the lil things wrong with it, the closer you'd get to the price you want.

thanks to all the people trying to help, i understand were you are coming from. im actually thinking ill just keep it. ive waited to long and worked too hard get the car to the state it is now. the car actually looks super good in person though, sure the front bumper is a little fucked but that will all be replaced later when the car gets painted, and a better looking body kit on it.

now that im set on keeping it, should i make a build thread? i understand that is a bit off topic, but would people like to see that?
