My car has been squeaking and creaking over bumps lately, the drivers side rear suspension to be exact. I used a stethoscope and narrowed it down to the RUCA bushing that connects the rear knuckle to the RUCA. (I have aftermarket rucas if it matters.) I ordered new NISMO bushings and pressed them into the knuckle. The squeaking stopped for 12 hours or so, and then came back. I thought maybe the bushing was faulty, so I switched it with another new NISMO bushing. Same thing, stopped creaking and came back the next day. Are these bushings directional? Do they need to be installed any special way?
