I have the BEE*R Type III and it sounds AMAZING on my redtop. Its basically the same thing as the Dual N1's.

ummm no.... Bee*r is one pipe all the wy back and splits into two cans..... N1 Dual is two pipes all the way back to two cans... bee*r is 80mm pipe (iirc) and the N1 uses two 65mm pipes. not even clse to the same. just for clarification

Does anyone have soundclips of any of these exhausts? Especially the pacesetter. I'm also looking for the quietest deep sounding exhaust I can find. Any ideas?

pacesetters only good for making noise and beating Nitekids over the head for even mentioning them. which should happen... soon... and often.. :hammer: :smash:

I would definitly say the HKS HP. Its only for NA (2.5" piping) but its by far the best system Ive ever heard for NA 240's. No rasptyness, just deep clean exhaust notes :)

There are a couple sound clips in the technical section of this forum. Apex N1 and Blitz I think. At least you'll have those two to compare. I know someone posted a clip of the 5Zigen before too.

I had the BNSR on mine before I put the SR in and it sounded BEAUTIFUL, it was super friking deep and was absolutely fabulous. However, you could easily hear it a mile away and it would set off car alarms just idling :)

Kei-Office s13 muffler with custom piping here. Sounds good! Used to have the HKS Hiper on my old s14 and i would definately recommend it.

just for MORE clarification, the N1 dual is one 80mm pipe from the cat to just before the rear section (it's a 2-piece exhaust), and then it splits to the 2 65mm pipes you mention. the center section is one pipe just so they can use a resonator with a 80mm inlet and outlet...the flange that connects to the rear section is clearly 2 65 mm pipes.

blah.

I think you mean the N1 Dual? It seems everyone has that one.

This thread is funny, poor guy has heard a recommendation for almost every exhaust out there.

Also, check out the reviews section, there should be some exhausts in there. If not people go add some please :D

the 5zgien fireball is a great muffler. i had it on my old FB. but now i have a 92 coupe, and i'm either getting the gpsports catback 80mm (purely b/c it's only $399 shipped) or i'm getting the apex-i N-1. just an overall good sounding exhaust, and good #'s

btw...does anyone know what size piping the apex n-1 turbo exhaust is?

Uras stainless steel cat-back? I was wanting to hop on that exhaust on 240sxforums GB, but I didn't have the money right then. Kicking myself for that.

hks hiper. it's great. i have it on my car and it sounds really good. very deep and like west said, clean. it's not loud, so it doesn't really attract that much attention. it just looks loud, hehe.

Are there any cat backs that don't sound good for the 240? This might help this dude out. I don't think I have ever heard anyone say that a certain cat-back doesn't sound good for a 240.

I kinda like mine.

It looks totally bone a$$ stock...but...I have 2.75 pipe cat back, cat is new "performace stock" and a short "performace stock" Midas muffler..and accepts the original classy tips. Outlet pipes are almost too big for the nozzels but we took a rubber mallet and hammered them on, made them strait, and spot welded them.

email is [email protected] for a clip.

I posted a zero to 80, if you click on my name and look at the posts I am involved in, you will see others reactions.

It not only flows, it sound deep and throaty, not outragious, but is serious sounding at a light at idle enough to get people looking over and saying, "sounds good Man"
