Tranny/Clutch problem

I changed out my clutch today which I found was generally a good thing. I have 95k miles on the engine but the clutch and pressure plate are stock. I believe they have not been changed by any of the previous owners (has Nissan engravings on them). I replaced this with a cheap fix by buying an Autozone OEM replacement clutch. I installed it and everything and rebolted the tranny.

The problem is that my clutch pedal resistance is no longer there at all. There is no reverse pressure when pushing down the pedal, it's almost like a moving dead pedal. I feel no resistance whatsoever and engagement is very choppy.
Honestly, I'm tripping out because this is my daily and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

after you have checked that make sure your pedal is adjusted right, I had the same issue a while ago with my Hatch 240sx.
its up to you but another thing i do to all of my 240's is that i remove the damper box near the tranny and route the clutch line straight into the slave cylinder for a better clutch feel IMO.

yeah make sure you bleed it to and change the fluid, not to bash on you but did you have the flywheel resurfaced too? yeah i agree with the statement above, it makes pedal feel a lot better

Yes. It was a newly resurfaced flywheel. I bled it this afternoon. I had to replace the slave cylinder cause I snapped off the bleed valve ><. At least now I have one on lifetime warranty. Anyway, bled it, refilled it, and feels exactly the same.

sigh.. I was too busy trying to get one thing done at a time I neglected the dampener. Looks like I'll have to do another bleed for that one.. All of this cause I got a stupid Autozone clutch set. Never again.

One thing that throws it off too is if the pressure plate wasn't bolted to specs or not properly/unevenly tightened too.

check your pressure plate if it engages and disengages than most likely your pressure plate. check your master cylinder and see is there is any bubbles or leakes.

when i do a clutch on a car especially a s13 a rule of thumb i use is to get a new master and slave ...if u saw that Ur fluid was blackish then most likely the seals on both parts r fuxked...and remove the dampener crap that thing blows..i just did a eBay steal-braided with both parts new and it made my cheap oem replacement take a shit....
