there are some computer people on this board i know it. anyone know about visual basic. how much does it cost, and will it run on windows 98 and windows NT. i'm asking because i want to write a program that will allow me to type 1/16 a much at work, and get more work done faster. yeah i'm lazy, and i may get caught. but there is a job opening for someone who has knowledge in VB, and i need to start learning it, and maybe it will make me look good if i get caught with that program and they'll say James, this is the key to our future, here's a $50,000 bonus. anyway. i've used visual basic before but only the last few weeks of a computer course i took.

visual basic pro usually runs about $450 or so...i wouldn't pay more than 5 for it though...also, you can get the enterprise edition for almost 6. i'd check kazaa or morpheus first. anyways, if you do get it, and you need a little help with codes, check http://www.freevbcode.com...that's where i usually go for ideas...well, good luck and happy coding
*edit: i forgot to mention that VB Pro usually is supported by 95/98, and NT...enterprise is usually good up to Win2K
