Oh, well my headlights dont go up when I turn them on, I have to manually flip the brights or hit the little button. Sorry.

you can take out the fuse in the relay box. its under your hood.

the one next to your coolant overflow tank. one of the 4 large ones. 3rd from left iirc
hand crank your lights where you want them, they light up where ever you put them

or, for your headlight switch,
pull it out and cut the brown wire.
THEN you wont need your pivot controller lol.
just sleepy eyes and turn on whenever you want.

make the lights sleepy first and when you do disconnect the motor for the headlight then they will stay like that the whole time

lol, yeah sleep eyes are worthless imho. you cant use them at night, and in the day you just look like ur motors broke.

YouTube - 240sx Sleepy Eye DIY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IM3lPh4VKo)
its the same fuse that the japanese DIY sleepy eyes guy took out. just take that fuse out, and control it from the front on however sleepy you want to make it.

yeah i kinda agree with ^^^^^ cuz i tried driving with sleepy eyes at night, and mannn it was SOO HARD to see at night. it just makes it look like you have neon lights since the lights are pointed down.

thread jack.
My headlights aim too high even with the adjustment screws screwed all the way down, so I slightly lower the headlights with the sleepy eye mod and it works fine, only the headlights jump and and down and cause a strobe light sensation..
Other than that, sleepy eye mod isn't necessarily pointless. I think it looks good in the morning with thee headlights barely opened up about 3/4 an inch or so.
Anywho, the only way I know of to have sleepy eyes while having the lights on is the sleepy eye mod, as the video posted up there is. Need to re-route your relay and have it connected to a switch.

yeah might look cool but thats it, doesnt do shit in my opinion...
and check your housing. mine were the same, the metal bracket that holds the headlights to the adjustment screws are really weak, so it bends easily because of the spring up top causing too much force and the screw just bending the metal. It maybe be that the little slot (its like a < that the screw sits in and the screw has 2 washer type things that hold it in place) is bent so far back that it slipped out the screw hold and the screw just rotates without moving the head lights. take it all apart, its fairly easy like 4 screws on a silver cover and then 2 for the black park or something, and then bent the metal back and slide it over the screws again. i did that and it worked for me

does anyone know if there's a different light or mount for the lights to use the sleepy eye at night and have the lights actually on the road?
