hi,

as i mentally plan my SR20 swap (because i am still waiting for the engine) i have been thinking about the I/C and piping. i got a used sidemount intercooler (not from a 240) which i plan to place on the side front and also i am going to need I/C piping, now i want to do as much as i can by myself, and with as little internet part ordering as possible. for the i/c piping could i not just use exhaust piping from a local partsource?

also do i really need a BOV with stock boost, cause the SR20 has a recirulating valve.

thanks

Yes.

And no, you don't need a BOV. The recirculator will be fine and dandy, plus you won't need to worry about accounting for all the air that the BOV lets out.

this is the only pic i have. cleaning the pipes will help redues the smoke during welding. also it is hard to clean the pis once you finish welding it.
i used an inverter tig welder. ; ran out of gas so i finished up with a flux core mig weldered.

good luck..
