View Full Version : spark plugs and plug wires
I have a normally aspirated KA S14 and need to replace the plugs and wires. Have 72K on them. Looking for performance. I heard the NGK's are good but have seen several different ones listed. Whats a good place to get them from?

Just get the ngk's from your local auto parts shop. Don't waste your money for a zillion dollar spark plugs. Won't do you any good.
which NGK's, iridium or platinum? ive read where iridiums would last longer but also have read where platinums will last longer because of the double platinum ground which iridiums have a standard ground.

I run NGK Wires and NGK V-Sparks, screw iridium, screw platinum, screw $10+/per spark plugs.
Spark plugs are maintenance parts, they don't last forever, you have to swap them out anyways, all spark plugs perform the same function albeit with different materials used in construction.

ngk bkr7e. Cheap. So cheap, I toss them out after every track day / every other oil change.
