Go to a local dealer - they all throw away tires with half-tread.

Who says you have to ask? They usually are piled near the dumpsters at night. They literally trash them - at least they do here for state law. I worked at a dealership where we replaced all tires less than 70% tread. Needless to say, I never had an issue with finding tires. Go by at night and see what they have.

I have went to 3 tires shops and they no longer will sell me used tires. Not sure how far you want to travel but I have a PAIR of Bridgestone Potenza Re940 225/50/16 that I will let go for $30 each picked up.

i think there is a used tire shop right off of sunnymead or perris in moreno valley since you live in riverside it should be like ten minutes away! i think its like 25 to 35 bucks tire. havent gone there in a while so i dont really remember. i know forsure that one of my friends know where its at so if you want just pm me or something and i'll get back to you when i get the chance
