i was wondering if these would fit the USDM bumper?
http://store3.yimg.com/I/jspec_1701_8315595

I know the USDM bumpers don't have the center piece coming down, but would it still fit? i can get a set for really cheap, just don't know if they fit. thanks.

Absolutely not, the us bumper just curves in, doesn't lip back out to match the contour of those valences. Just go ahead and pick up the valences then pick up the jspec rear.

do you think it would look good on the USDM bumper?

i don't understand why they won't fit, only difference of the JDM bumper with the USDM bumper is the lip. So wouldn't it look like this?

I don't think it will. The US bumper lacks that lower lip because the flat surface extends downward a little further... IIRC

So it won't match the contour of the bumper.

It'd look like trash even if it did. Get the JDM rear if you want to use those!

and I want those rear valences to put on my s14... since it will look like A S S on your s14 can you pass on the source for these so I can possibly pick them up. My car is going to the shop to get painted this week and it'd be nice to do it all at once :D

It looks like crap if you plan on doing that....

Looks like Leon Spinx with his knocked out teeth in the middle.....http://a1259.g.akamai.net/f/1259/5586/1d/images.art.com/images/PRODUCTS/large/10085000/10085247.jpg

Even if you did fit em, it'd look about as cool as this.

Yeah, I guess it looks bad...if you want them, email francisco from silviaparts.com, he sourced them for me. he says the paint is scratched, but it's not like that matters, since you have to repaint them anyways. i was also trying to convince him to make copies of the valence, and design a rear lip for the USDM bumper...if he does it, it would be hot. but i am still waiting for an answer from him.

the reason i can get them for cheap is because i know francisco personally, so if i get it for cheap from him and sell it, then i would be the biggest dick ever. sorry, can't help you, just email him and ask him how much he wants for it.

The zenki's are easier to find than the kouki rears... I've seen a few on here before and eventhough I can't recall where, I know there are some available on the usual silvia part importer sites like Jspec...

wack, dont polute our market and cars with poorly fitting knock off copies made of fiberglass.

The reason people get factory parts like this is because 1 it fits properly, 2 it comes with proper finish and mounting hardware. and finally 3 its made of abs plastic not junk fiberglass.

BTW this is coming for some one w/ the kouki bumper and real kouki rear valence.

I agree with Will... I could have had some copies made... but it just doesn't seem right... I know it's cheaper and all... but IMO you get what you pay for... nothing can beat the perfect fit and ABS plastic aero parts... especially when they're rare... I know what it's like to have a real gracer aero kit and then see some knock off on the road... just makes me shake my head... authentic is the only way to go IMO

I got the valences BTW so thanks for helping me to find the missing link to completing my exterior mods :D

but not everyone has the connections you do Will, there aren't enough of those things to go around. Its also a money issue, some people not only want to find it, but want to find it "for cheap".

like me, ain't no way in the 9 hells i'm gonna shell out 700 for a real nismo rear bumper :)

then paul, they shouldnt have it if they dont got the cash flow to afford a real one. actually for this specific item u can order it from dealer in japan new, and it comes painted. It takes about 2-3 weeks to order and ship, and if u got ur color code u can just order a piece w/ correct matched color.

also note its a pain to mount w.o drilling new holes and double sided taping it. Versus the way it mounts w/ stock hard ware 2 sets of clips, 6 screws, 3m sticky tape already positioned on piece.
