I need advice. So far this summer has been work, summerschool, and summer school. I haven't been able to save up the 4k I was hoping to earn inorder to recieven money for a swap & parts. Of course i'll be doing it myself to save money. Is there anyone where that obtained some kind of loan to purchase the engine? I know it sounds stupid to buy something with money i currently don't have... but :bash: <-- that's me.

Most banks won't give out small personal loans anymore, your best bet is getting a CC and hopefully don't get carried away using it.

The easiest way is to just save the money. Putting it on a credit card is a desaster waiting to happen. Since you don't make much now you won't be able to pay it off anytime soon so you will be getting killed with interest.
