Hey I have a little issue that is time sensitive and I need some sort of direction. I have a redtop block and there's a coolent pipe that sits right above the thermostat hole, and its broken. I got it out now need to remedy it. Does that pipe go to the heater? If so, what the small nipple on the bottom and where does it lead? Doeas anyone have a part number or any idea as to what I can do to fix it?

I can't seem to post a pic via my blackberry but I'm sure ppl kno which part I'm talkin about. Can anyone either email me at [email protected] or text at 4138852372. I'm puttin the motor together now so the sooner I get some info the better. Thanks all.

Hey Mark:

The back of that large fitting actually goes to a 'water manifold' sort to speak under the intake manifold, that ends up feeding the IACV, heater core, and the water feed to the turbo. On the back of that 2 bolt thermostat piece, there is another big hose that also goes into that same 'water manifold'.

As far as that little downward facin nipple, I simply have a cap on it.
