i recently upgraded to a larger turbo 740cc tomei injectors and a pfc d jetro and the car is undrivable when the water temperature is under 50C. the car will lean out when throttle is applied almost killing the engine, but at 50c the car will run normal. i cannot correct this by adjusting the water temp correction on the pfc any help?

I have a similar setup, and now matter what I do, the car tends to behave in the same manner you described....but I don't think it is leaning out though....
If you are SURE that it is leaning out on tip in, try adding some fuel to the RIGHT column in the Water Temp correction table.

i know from a wideband o2 sensor that it is going lean. adding fuel in the water temp correction did not seem to help

Under 50c the car water temp is not warm enough at all... Basically under 50 is going to be a problem with an upgraded thermostat.... change thermo or bust...

stock thermostat, also when the car is started after cooling off for a few (5)hours and the water is about 30-40c the car will drive normally at the low water temperature. the leaning out when the throttle is pressed only occurs from the first cold start in the morning.

WHen the throttle is pressed? but its still cold..... if leaning out... you can mess with the acceleration menu 1000 RPM and 2000 RPM area...

Your car just needs tuning, bring to an Apexi Power Excel Dealer.

i dont think its the tune because i do not have this problem if the car sits in the sun all afternoon (water temp is still ambiant temp 20-25c same temp as when not on sunny day). If the day has no sun or the car is started first thing in the moruning but the water temp is the same (20-25c) the car will have the warming up problem. i also have irradic idle on a hot engine (including irradic afr) when the humidity is high(raining) but sometimes under a normal day; and other wierd idle problems when the throttle plate is fully closed.
tps reads proper volts and it has been suggested to me that it might be the aicv since all my problems are related to a closed throttle plate. the aicv is on backorder everywhere. im also going to reinitialize the pfc and see if that helps.
any input on it being the aicv?
