So I was looking in to upgrading my tod rods but it seems it's either upgraded slighty tein tie rods or extremely over priced JIC hard tire rods. I'd like to have the JIC hard tie rods but I don't want to blow that much on tie rods alone. Tein is nice but not quite what I'm looking for. Seems too wusy compared to JIC.

Any other options out there like JIC except not quite as much of a ripoff.

dude, do some research
google is there for your use. no need to ask something that you can find out the answer to w/ 20 seconds of research (that's how long it took me)

Well I think the problem is that the tein ones are only a little beefier (from the looks of it) than the stock ones, whereas the JIC units are MUCH beefier. I geuss we're trying to look for something a little beefier than the tein units, but not all the $$$$ of the JIC's. I think...

JIC is beefier? have you seen them in person? dont judge stuff by pics. might not be for car listed.
:)

Yes I am judging this by pictures. Okay, so for the S13 and S14 the JIC hard tie rods are not beefier than the Tein units??

I know you have the Teins. But you said NOT to judge by pics which is what I'm doing. Since you have the Teins, do you KNOW if they are not as beefy as the JICs??

MOOG is all you need nitekids. whats the point of tein tie rod ends if the only drifting you do is on the internet and to sleep?

EXACTLY

daily driving there is NO reason to upgrade the tie rods. just upgrade the endlinks for better driving/handling response.

Moog is the way to go with that m2 metal bushing technology. I bought both moog inner/outters. Works great.

hey since we are on this, on the tie rod end, if the rubber bushing thing is damaged, what effect/problem can it cause, beside worse steering?:aw:

handling and safety, imho
new endlinks dont cost much
u might need another alignment if you goof changing them out
but then you'd only need a 2 wheel alignment instead of 4, so it wont cost as much

new endlinks are pretty inexpensive
