Hello Zilvia,
I have a '92 s13 with a KaDe, 126k, Catback, and a no name intake cone.

Last week after a short drive down the street to the store, i turned the car on and it had a bad misfire. I drove home and tried to diagnose the problem, but im stumped.
It misfired hella bad, and i can smell raw fuel out of the exhaust. i replaced the #2 injector [old injector read 0 ohms] And Spark Plugs [old plugs covered in gas] but it didnt help the problem. It idled better, But didnt fix the misfire.
I have to open the throttle while cranking for it to start, when doing so, the intake backfires.

I tried adjusting timing, removing the hose from the intake to the black box, replacing plugs, replaceing bad injector, and cleaning my cap and rotor. i Checked the ECU and it threw code "21: +Ignition Signal Cuircuit" Im Thinkin its my ignition transistor chip next to the coil, but i dont have any spares. My friend said i might have to replace the head, or machine it. I dont have funding for that. :(

Any Suggestions??

one way to test for a warped head is compression test if all clynders are low and one high your head is warpped but its only 35 bucks at a machine shop to resurface..... if you run good compression on all but one put oil in that clynder and retest if compression raises and then fades away slowly its your rings if compression does not raise its from up top the misfire thing could be maf related though............ or that code
