I'm getting an s14 in about 2 weeks and I will be autocrossing it. our autox's are only about once a month so i don't want a full race suspension. i am looking for something that can be driven on the street that is fairly comfortable. From reading other people's threads it sounds like TEIN HE's or JIC FLA-2's might be what i'm looking for. Anyone have other suggestions?

use the search mode
i did a HUGE kick-*** comparision of the JIC FLT-A2 and Tein HE!!!

i use JIC now and i had tein before
but going back to tein cuz the jic are borrowed. search search!

Read Dousans thread on Freshalloy (under the same name). There were much more in depth discussions and pics. The JIC is clearly a better coilover, but is it worth the price to you? If not, get the HEs. Read the FA thread though.... much better

What?

I had PM'ed him like 300 times before finally buying HE's. I asked him between multiple coilovers, the HKS, JIC I think Zeal too. No one has done a REAL comparison between these two coilovers, untill now, and a lot of people are interested in buying these two coilovers specifically. The HE's are better sutied to MOST people.

Dorifto = a$$hole!

The HE's if you want to go cheap...

But you know, if you have only just started Auto xing, I think you should try driving stock for atleast a years worth of events, then change things. I can get within 3-4 seconds of some tricked out 240's in my stock car, and I still have some tire and suspension issues to work out. Auto x is more driver than anything else.
