My friend is hooking me up with his two turbos that came off his 1990 300ZX. I have a 1998 240SX SE and was wondering how much boost I could push with one of his stock turbos, I'm not sure of the make or model of the turbos. Also, do ya'll think it woud be worth having a custom manifold and piping made for this turbo, or should I just save and purchase a turbo kit for the KA, or better yet, do they make a manifold and piping that will work with a 300zx turbo for my application? Does anyone know if I could use the injectors and fuel pump from the 300ZX for my turbo install? Havn't done too much research on it yet, just thought I would ask ya'll 240 experts before I went on a wild goose hunt. Thanks in advanced.

IIRC, the 300zx came with t3 turbos, and most "standard" manis made for ka are t3/t4 which will work with the t3. The turbos however are pretty small, so id say no more than 7-8 psi before you run out of efficiency range. The 300zx did come with the same purple injectors which are a direct swap in, but (again iirc) only 93+ models. Fuel pump is a direct swap.

Thanks a lot for the info. You probably saved me a couple hours of searching on Google for that information. Preciate it bro.
