So I figure with Ken Block dumping Subaru and going with Ford of all companies, if more companies will start offering more AWD options? Right now the main AWD cars I can think of are the Subaru Wrx/STI, and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution/Ralli Art both of which are turbocharged and AWD. Like many of you I am a fan of WRC and other rally events so I figured we could have a thread to discuss the going-ons and possibilities to come out of these sweet cars. Does anyone think that there will eventually be an AWD turbo Ford Fiesta available stateside? Will Subaru go back to wrc? Will Mitsubishi ever go back? Will it ever be possible for us to get an AWD turbo car that isn't Mitsu or Sub? Discuss:hug:

ford needs to bring the focus rs over here period.
And ken block sucks he has only been in like 2 stages and has a hard time listening to his navigator, makes a wrong turn and ends up upside down on a mountain side haha

^ Its still a pretty amazing car besides that. Wouldnt mind having one at all.
I dont think Subaru or Mitsubishi will go back. They both had there day in the sun and now other companys have taken over so they bowed out.

well from what I've read is that block will use the fiesta in American events for now and the Focus Cosworth in WRC, eventually they will use the AWD Fiesta for both. I'd hope that we would get some sort of version like that but it's doubtful, being that the only thing decent ford will produce for us is the damn Mustang. I've always wondered why rally isn't as popular here as it is in Europe being it's alot more entertaining than half the auto racing we feature out here. Speaking of the Audi A4 and A6, would they even be worthwhile? I'm not to familiar with them but I believe they are a subsidiary of Volkswagen if i'm not mistaken? And if that is to be true I know VW's are well known for their electrical problems, is it the same for Audi? How would these cars perform in a rally type circuit? I'd like to see some Peugeots, or Citroens out here but usually they only make enough for rally homologation, or is that even still around?

That's a cool car and I respect Suzuki's stuff they do in hillclimb and rally competitions, but if i were to get one of their cars it'd be the SX4 AWD, now if only it came with full time AWD and I could see a platform that'd have more buyers. I always will remember their Escudo being one of the fastest cars in Gran Turismo, probably my favorite car when I was younger. It really makes me wonder, since they do produce such great motorcycles i.e. gsxr 600, 750, 1300, why their cars haven't been up to the sportiness that their bikes resemble.http://media2.worldcarfans.com/2006/3/medium/2060303.004.1M.jpg
