sorry for asking such a simple question, but my car didnt come with a owners manual. What kind of oil should i use for a '90 240sx?

10w30 or 10w40.
Unless you know it's been running synthetic oil, I'd just use some Castrol or whatevah.

Well, it is an API SF or SF/CC Multigrade and fuel efficient oil.
Viscosity is dependent on the climate area of which you dwell.
20W 40 and 20W 50 are in the 20F-100F or -10C-40C and up Range.
10W40 is for 0F-100F or -20C-40C and up Range
10W30 is for 0F-90F or -20C- 30C Range only
5W30 is for -20F-35F or -30C- 0C Range and below.
and finally
5W20 is for -20F-15F or -30C- -15C Range and below.
