I was wondering how this would compare with the regular LE. How much weigh difference is there for the 91 LE and SE

Could someone tell me more about this Super HICAS

Can you drift in this???

Please utilize the 'Search' function. You'll find it to be very helpful.

The Super HICAS system is essentially a big term for a reverse steering control or an elaborate responsive control for the cpu to tell what is happening when you steer between a certain MPH range. Kinda like AWD just not as completely functional, I guess. The rear tires make small adjustments based on the angles detected by the cpu. My words, no copy and pasting.

No rudeness intended, but you did not help much, so I figured that I would. I guess I will link next time.

I know I didn't help much... :D I make it a point to help people help themselves. No links are required, however, it's always a nice idea to cite the source (whomever you copied the info from).

Look to www.socal240sx.org for some good info on HICAS.

all it is, is a four wheel steering system.. depending on the speed and turn, the rear wheel will slightly turn... but this technology was crappy... many companies came out with it: Nissan, Honda, etc... most of the discarded it. according to Sport Compact Car mag, the only car that the rear wheel steering worked well on was the skyline... there are many places that sell the HICAS neutralizer, to stop the effects of HICAS..

misnomer

A lot of people have gotten to learn the finer details of how HICAS works and love it (Read: Don at PDM). It's something different, some people like it, some don't. I figure if you drive casually, it will improve your handling. If you are more of an enthusiast and put the time into learning it, it's pretty badass.

I s'pose I'm one of the few who wishes his car had HICAS :P
