Anyone know any good 'racing' films?

I've searched the forum, but I didn't find any thread connected to these kind of car films/movies.

I wanted to know if you guys know any good or decent movies that involve car racing, imports, etc? Sounds cheesy.. I know.:ughd: But I've always been into these kind of films.


By car "racing" movies, I mean more of an import kind of movie, maybe even with a good/decent story/plot! :D


Other than the Fast and Furious kind of ishhh, maybe movies similar/along the lines of:

a mongolian race/drift movie.
kinda f&f ish but good none the less
the second one is more track drifting which is more realistic

I just finished watching the first Evolusi KL Drift movie from 2008.. it's uh pretty "cheesy" but I got my kicks out of it! :D
Funny how all the cars have all these logos and stickers on them looking like track cars, when all they do is race on public streets. Which happen to have no other cars driving in like 90% of the movie. And no cops! Except one scene.. and they didn't do anything. Oh well!

I give it a C+ cause it had pretty decent racing scenes, but if you base the movie on reality, I'd have to give it an F... plus!

Downloading Evolusi KL Drift 2 right now.. the 1st movie's ending was so abrupt, I didn't even expect it. In a very bad way of course. So time to watch the sequel!

Then after, I'm gonna try and find Thunderbolt & Driven. And the other ones that sound interesting.

Two lane blacktop looked to be good, as an owner of this movie, i can say its not all that good. It ends abruptly. It was trying to be American Graffiti, but fell short.
