Bent rack and pinion?

so yea was drifting in the rain omw to work caught a little to fast entry speed and ate a curb XD but question is a replaced tie rod cause it was bent bad inner and outer but the rack and pinion where i hit curb kinda looks bent a slight bit. wanted to see what this would feel like if it was bent cause right now steering wheel locks during turns and have to correct steering often. any advice would help

I am with the two posters above me. Yes it is possible to bend the rack...happened to my friend. He spun out at the TRACK because the guy in front of him spun and the guy behind my friend ran into his tire and bent the rack...everything else was pretty ok though.

oh ok then was just seeing thought i might of messed up with the turns on the tie rod cause i didnt count turns just kinda put it on there cause was in a rush to get car home

well dude, if you alignment is out of whack you need to fix that first! If everything is still f'd THEN replace the rack!...unless you have monies and don't care (which I doubt you do, because you would have replaced the rack instead of making this thread).
