Anyone ever do this? Is this a dumb idea? Im having issues with my cars fitment. They fit, but if i go up steep inclines at a ricer angle, my car actually gets stuck to where i have one wheel three feet in the air, and the other wheel has the weight of the car on it, so for me to drive up anything i need to go head on and i have no problems. I would like to throw a kit on soon so going straight on is a no go with the kit. I dont want to get diffrent rims, nor do i want to go over fenders. So im wondering if anyone has ever welded tubs in the rear, kinda like muscle cars do to fit huge slicks. Maybe there is another way i could go. Just brain storming. Thanks guys.
just in case

You dont need to tub S-chassis since you have alot of room to run some wide wheels. Issue you have is clearing the fender. Your best bet honestly is to get professionally pulled fenders (cut and push the inner fender higher while pulling the outter some more) or just say fuck it and go over fenders.

Fenders are rolled and pulled as far as possible. blah, guess i might just have to go overs...

I do not understand why you need tubs. If your tires/wheels don't rub... whats the problem? The wheel in the air the partly because there is no droop travel and being too low. "Most" coilovers 3 wheel because of no/little droop, not because of fender clearance...

I warned you about this when you did the pull. You have to cut the metal and bash it up and create a straight across metal bond to your fender like I did otherwise overfenders is your only option. There really is no way to "tub" the rear without relocating your fuel filler and cutting out the metal panels, building the tubs then re welding in the body panels.

to keep the strength of the rear quarter in tact it's best to make smaller cuts of metal rather than bending a sheet and just straight lining it with your welder.
And you will have to repaint your car, because there is no way to do this without destroying your paint.
good luck.
