I heard a CRACK as I rolled the window up on the driver side (manual), and it stopped rolling up. I did the genius thing, and rolled it down the rest of the way, to see what was up. Now it stops at a quarter of the way up. So I pulled the door panel, lifted the plastic, and found the cable leading to the winder. There are what feels like beads, or a spring, on the cable, and this is what's jamming my mechanism. Can I just cut this off, or is there something that it was supposed to do, or what? Any ideas?
